Hotel San Francisco Plaza, Guadalajara

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious with a huge bathroom, but unfortunately, they smelled like mold and were very sparsely decorated with furniture that could use an upgrade. The service, however, was superb with warm, friendly, and helpful staff who went out of their way to assist. The location was convenient to the historic district, but the worn-out facility and the surrounding area being unsafe at night were notable drawbacks. The dining options were reasonable and tasty, although it would have been nice to see more vegetarian choices. Overall, it was a stay with positives and negatives to consider.

The hotel had vents on the doors, was lovely and clean, and we felt good value for what we paid. The room was quiet and spacious with comfortable beds, but the Wi-Fi connectivity was intermittent.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we noticed a strong disinfectant smell in the rooms, but they were clean, spacious, and adorned with beautiful ancient furniture. The bathroom was impressively large with new tile, lighting, and ample outlets. Overall, a lovely and clean room that offered good value for the price paid.
